Kislovsky developed and expanded the work from the sixth story in his "Ten Commandments". The film does not explore the motives of peeping, but the tragic ending can be understood as a hint of the director's interpersonal relationship in modern cities. The director is obviously desperate and pessimistic about the innocent love represented by the young postman, as well as abandoning the modern secular concept of love constituted by women, and his tone is full of helplessness and disappointment.
