From February 18, 1938 to August 23, 1943, the Japanese invaders carried out a five-and-a-half-year strategic bombing of Chongqing, which was the largest aerial massacre in the history of the world. "Air Strike; Unbreakable Spirit" is based on the historical background of Japan's five-year air raid on Chongqing since 1937, and was shot to commemorate the 70th anniversary of the victory of anti-fascism
.
The script planning of the film and the original writer of the script, Li Weipin, started writing the play in 1996. In the first three years, he traveled all over the major libraries and interviewed the surviving newsboys in Nanchang, Guangzhou and other places, and only completed the first draft in 1999. From 2000 to 2011, directors such as Yu Deshui and Lu Xuechang had contacted him successively, preparing to put the script on the screen, but due to factors such as cost, it was finally stranded. During that time, the old man made several revisions to the script, and finally established the main line of the story. When the film was launched in 2011, the old man was 85 years old.

It was cut into a "blockbuster" that took less than 90 minutes. This film took the entire film industry and entertainment industry into a pot, and one end brought it to Hollywood. Let’s just kill the circle, it’s not a pity, this circle is already dispensable.
