In the bustling downtown Manhattan, four plain-looking painters entered the Wall Street branch of a trust bank. The situation changed drastically. In less than a minute, the entire bank was under their control. It turned out that they were robbers in disguise. The high IQ leader Dalton Russelldirected the bank robbery behind the scenes and seized nearly 50 hostages.
The situation was urgent and the New York Police Department was mobilized. The newly promoted Sheriff Keith Fraser, although under the cloud of corruption scandals, rushed to the scene with his partner Bill because of the tricky case. Also assisted by emergency handling elites, in order to prevent the situation from getting out of control, the police surrounded the banks in groups. However, they are not dealing with ordinary people this time-the bandit leader Dalton is not only cunning, calm, and super-controlling, but he has full control of the situation every step of the way, even Fraser is helpless.
For Arthur Case, chairman of the bank's board of directors , he is not concerned with the safety of the hostages, but with the "important" objects in the bank's vault. Therefore, Madeleine Witt, who is a lawyer and a political brokerwas hired by him to make subtle dealings with the Mayor of New York, Fraser, and Dalton. The already turbulent situation has been injected with more unstable elements, and the situation is critical.
