- In June 2017, 4 months after the filming started, Disney and Lucas announced that due to creative differences, the original directors Phil Rhodes and Christopher Miller were fired by the production company and replaced by the 73-year-old director. Ron Howard took over directing, and more than 70% of the scenes were reshot.
- Before the filming started, Alden Ellenrich went to meet Harrison Ford, who has played the role of Han Solo many times, and asked about the communication between the characters.
- During the filming of the film, Alden Ellenrich encountered a major obstacle in imitating Harrison Ford's acting. Lucasfilm was quite dissatisfied with this and hired an acting director for him.
- The original villain of the film was an orc-like character, played by Michael Williams, but due to the schedule conflict of the remake, he had to delete all his scenes and temporarily replaced him with a substitute Paul Bettany.
- The costumes of the film are produced by the costume design team led by David Kreisman and Green Dillon for the film more than 1,000 costumes.
- In order to create a series of creatures beyond imagination, the film restores the story environment. Neil Skellen and his team have designed more than 500 alien creatures.

It's a pity that Phil Lord and Christopher Miller were eventually replaced, and Ron Howard was hired to make up the spot. Otherwise, the ubiquitous cold humor and comedy style in this film should be said to be a surprise biography of science fiction characters. Compared to the original interpretation that is too familiar, it is really incompetent to appreciate Alden Ehrenreich's acting skills and appearance in the past two years... The only looking forward Donald Glover is also not brilliant.

[The short comment contains spoilers, but I don’t care] If you don’t watch it as a Star Wars movie, then this is quite a job that Ron Howard can do, and he can do it occasionally in the first half of the routine. There are a few surprises; but at the end, in order to force the Millennium Falcon to Solo, Lando Carrissian made a bet on the spacecraft that has been integrated with L3. This is something I cannot accept from a narrative perspective. Great emotional and logical flaws
