It was released in Mexico in 2014.  The film tells the tortuous friendship and love story among three childhood sweethearts, Manolo, Maria and Joaquin.

"Nine Lives" is a family comedy film jointly produced by French Europa Film Company and Shanghai Kemei Film Co., Ltd., directed by Barry Sonnenfeld , and co-starring Kevin Spacey , Robert Patrick Amell , Jennifer Garner , Christopher Walken and others.
