Jenny played the most famous role of CJ Cregg in the American TV series " The West Wing ". Due to her outstanding performance in the film, Jenny won four Emmy Awards , and received four Golden Globe Awards nominations, one AFI Award nomination and two Emmy Awards nominations. She has starred in movies such as " Big Night ", " Primary Colors ", " Drop Dead Gorgeous ", " American Beauty ", " The Hours ", " Hairspray ", " Jno " and " The Help ".

Jenny's earliest TV series roles were Vi Kaminski in the American soap opera "As the World Turns" and Ginger in "Guiding Light". In 1994, she appeared in the last season of the American TV series "Law and Order" as a witness against a group of Russian suspects.

Jenny has also played different roles in many movies, such as the 1990s movie " American Beauty ", " The Object of My Affection ", " Big Night ", " The Impostors ", " Drop Dead Gorgeous ", " The "Ice Storm ", " Primary Colors ", " 10 Things I Hate About You ", and " Prvate Parts ". In 1999, she started playing the White House press spokesperson CJ Cregg in the TV series " The West Wing " and won four Emmy Awards.
