Watching Mansfield Manor last night, based on one of Austen's lesser known works. There is a reason for not being famous, and this story is indeed not very attractive, except that the ending of a lover who eventually becomes a family is pretty good, the heroine is thick and slender, and the steamed bun looks a bit like Mary. Kelly, her repeated attitude towards playboy Henry who wants to refuse, agrees and then backs out is also suspicious, which makes people feel a little sympathetic to Henry...
