  • James Donald is a Scottish film and television actor. Participated in movies for the first time in 1942, and later participated in many war-themed movies. Participated in a series of high-quality movies in the 1950s and 1960s, such as the role of Van Gogh’s brother in " The Biography of Van Gogh" and the World War II film " The Bridge on the River Kwai ", " The Great Escape " and " King " Rat " played a series of intelligent and respected roles. Later, he tried to perform roles in TV dramas and was nominated for an Emmy Award in 1961. He died of stomach cancer in the UK in 1993 at the age of 76. [1]
