  • Margarita Booy, Italian actress, was born on January 15, 1962 in Rome, Lazio, Italy. After studying acting at the Academy of Dramatic Arts, she rose to fame in the 1986 film Love Story, directed by Duccio Tessari . In 1990, she won the Silver Shell Award for Best Actress at the 38th San Sebastian International Film Festival with " A Week with the Sphinx ", and started her award-winning journey. She has won the highest Italian film honor seven times. Guardian Awards: Five Best Actress, two Best Supporting Actress. [1]  She also won the Silver George Award for Best Actress at the 30th Moscow International Film Festival for her feature film "Days and Clouds" in 2008. [2]  In 2009, "White Space" helped Bouy win the Pasinetti Award for Best Actress at the 66th Venice International Film Festival. [3]
