The end of the first season. Heavy-duty retro reasoning drama, but the plot is average. Passion and adultery coexist, but they are not cruel enough. PS: Reid and the aunt in the orphanage have an affair, blind! Doctor and brothel proprietress, a match made in heaven!

The plot reasoning is not important, it is the style of the times. It's not so much a detective drama as it is a Victorian Whitechapel tourism and cultural promotional film, one episode at a time.
