    Early Experience

Richard Pryor, a famous American comedian. Born in 1940, he is extremely talented in acting and began to perform in a nightclub at the age of 7. What made Pryor famous is his "dirty joke". Before becoming famous, Pryor performed in nightclubs in many hotels. He was fired for "language insults" audiences. But he did not give in. Gradually, his acrimonious jokes and refreshing acting style made him a big star   .

    Performing Experience

In the 1970s and 1980s, Pryor starred in a series of blockbuster comedy movies that made him a household name in the United States and made him the highest paid actor in Hollywood. He was also the first black actor in Hollywood history to negotiate terms with his boss. In 1983, Pryor signed a record-setting contract with the Columbia TriStar Motion Picture Group - $40 million in five years.
However, in the latter part of Pryor's acting career, his edges and corners were gradually flattened, and he began to host some game shows similar to "Millionaires". The pungent irony was gone, replaced by boring funny. Pryor himself admits that these shows are rubbish, "but I am very greedy, and I make more money to host such shows."
Player is also the first actor in Hollywood history to declare war on racism. In 1977, the prosperous Pryor was invited to be the host of the Oscars. When presiding over the awards ceremony, Pryor relentlessly satirized the reality of discrimination against black people in Hollywood.
But after becoming famous, Pryor became addicted to drugs and alcohol, and suffered greatly. In 1980, Pryor had an overdose of drugs at home. He was confused and caused a fire. As a result, he suffered extensive burns and almost lost his life. After the accident, Pryor gradually gave up bad habits, but his body has already suffered tremendous damage. In the 1990s, Pryor began to suffer from multiple neurosclerosis.
In 1991, Pryor starred in his last movie "The Other You", after which his condition deteriorated and his language and movement difficulties appeared. However, in 1995, Pryor re-emerged with a "natural performance"-he played a multiple neurosclerosis patient in the popular TV series "Chicago Hope" that year. This appearance also won him the "Emmy" nomination for best supporting actor.
In 1998, the "John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts" awarded Pryor the "Mark Twain Award", which is one of the highest awards in the American performing arts industry to recognize comedians who have made outstanding contributions. At the time of the award, Pryor was already in serious condition and could not accept the award in person. He stated in a statement: "Like Mark Twain, I can also use humor to alleviate people's hatred."

    Personal Life

Pryor has been married six times in his life, with two sons and three daughters   .
