Super 8 is not as bad as I heard, it is actually a good film, the only problem is that the monster's line is not threaded with the child's line. In fact, if super 8 can play well, it is better than a fast food movie like Panda 2, but unfortunately Panda played 120%, while super 8 only played 80%.
