    Character Evaluation

TerryGilliam not only absorbs American optimism, but also hides the British sense of humor. He has always been good at playing with connotation and has always been scornful of special effects. The insoluble myth, the use of oblique lenses and high-intensity contrast colors can not enter the vision of the European academic school .
In the movie "Dr. Parnassos' Fantasy Show", it is proved that TerryGilliam is an imaginative director Mtime.com . His films have a distinctive personal style, such as oblique shots, strong contrasting colors, ridiculous stories and crazy characters . In the movie "The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus", the maverick TerryGilliam uses his imagination to the extreme Online .
TerryGilliam created a very similar and weird world to challenge the universe. His video style is out of date, and his exploration of time and space is brutal and claustrophobic. For Gilliam, every film made is a battle: always oppose mainstream Hollywood culture, always oppose high social consumption, always oppose militarism and imperialism, always oppose boring narratives and mediocre personnel, always Oppose all the listless things related to the "American Dream" .

This kind of weirdness is like the inspiration that comes from...

And Now for Something Completely Different quotes

    • [a vicar is attacked by keep-left signs]

Sergeant-Major: Right! Stop that! It's SILLY. Very SILLY indeed! Started off as a nice little idea about old ladies attacking young men, but now it's just got SILLY! His hair's too long for a vicar, too, and you can tell those are not proper keep-left signs! CLEAR OUT, THE LOT OF YOU!

[the vicar and the keep-left signs depart]

    • Mungo the Cook: You bastards! You vicious, heartless bastards! Look what you've done to him! He's worked his fingers to the bone to make this place what it is, and you come in with your petty feeble quibbling and you grind him into the dirt, this fine, honorable man, whose boots you are not worthy to kiss! Oh... it makes me mad...

      [Slams cleaver into the table]

Mungo the Cook: Mad! Stark, stirring... MAD!
