I remember watching a documentary by DISCOVERY called Ultimate Athlete a long time ago. The film tells the life of the top players in competitive sports and those who are not yet top players. However, after watching ANY GIVEN SUNDAY, the screenwriter did not want this film to be inspirational....

This film is the most commercialized film in Oliver Stone's film career. It takes American football as the theme and encourages students to pursue their own beliefs, no matter in story, photography or editing, (shooting the scene from a subjective perspective, Unintentionally more immersive reality and shocking) have been carefully polished, and the sports inspirational film has been made into a work that is almost documentary. Although the script belongs to a typical sports inspirational film, Oliver Stone still retains his usual characteristics of angry youth (the inflation of a no-name overnight fame, the hypocrisy of Vanity Fair's communication, the discrimination of racial phenomena, the predicament of the development of women's careers), Al Pacino's final speech was infectious and largely salvaged the fragmented narrative of the first half.

There are advantages, but it can't impress people, but the ones who can impress are probably muscular men who play rugby. Stone's films seem to have this virtue, with first-rate form and third-rate content.
