After going through the concentration camp, there is nothing more unbearable

When everyone is numbered, lined up, and put on the list, these Jews will forever bear an indelible mark on their backs in the era of the massacre...

She frantically asked why we should bring this bad Yellow stars? Jews are a religion, but they are called a different source from others. This is not the appearance but the essence. I really don’t know if I should be proud or shameful?
He said calmly, not feeling anything. Not for you to decide.
      But she couldn't stop her...

Just visited this concentration camp today / history will not be forgotten

Because I was very interested in this period of history, I watched a lot of World War II movies and concentration camp movies. I also said that I must go to the Auschwitz concentration camp in Poland if I have the opportunity. Even if my trip to Europe didn't go smoothly, I just flew in. Poland.

      Krakow

This is a well-preserved city left over from World War II, and some walls can still show the past experience.

      Life without fate

The fourteen-year-old Jewish kid Kavi is such a bear kid, the expression on his beautiful face is always confused, confused and sluggish. When sending off his father who was going to the labor camp, it was the same when he saw someone showing good wishes to his stepmother, including when the police escorting them hinted that he had escaped. He faced everything with a kind of autistic incomprehension and sluggishness. It was as if the fate wasn't his. So he went to the concentration camp in a...

The warmth and sorrow in the years of suffering

Always impressed by the ending of the movie, the whole picture is shrouded in a hazy halo. The protagonist stands alone in a corner of the crowded square. He is going home. He looks forward to the home he longs for and his beloved mother. The golden and warm sunlight sprinkled quietly on this land, surrounding him. Euphemistic and beautiful music flows gently on the screen, and the hero’s voice-over sounded quietly: Even now, even here I recognized it—my favorite hour in the camp. And I was...

      Alive, from spring to winter...

Here, there is only death, not love and sex.
Death is inevitable, and living is good fortune.

The dark yellow scenes constantly switch as the lens stretches, bright street scenes, boys wearing yellow six-pointed stars, crowds wearing yellow six-pointed stars, farewell rituals that signify death by birth and death...
Such intense friction between happiness and sadness, Between the Nazi concentration camps, happiness, fear, blind obedience, regret, hatred, despair, memories,...

Take it to Budapest to see it. The difference between this film and living is that the latter brings out Chinese-style existentialism, while the purposeful suffering chosen by the protagonist of this film brings out the spirit of Judaism. Friend's comments are eloquent: The story is about how the Jews stood their ground: let the whole world owe them. After being persecuted and driven from Jerusalem for nearly two thousand years, they ushered in the Holocaust, and then they got...

    Movie quotes

    • Rozi: So people don't hate you?

György Köves: Who would hate me?

      Rozi: Everyone.

      György Köves: But why?

      Rozi: Because of this!

      [points at his star]

György Köves: Oh, that? Well, they may hate me, but I don't think it's me they hate. Net me personally, just in general.

      Rozi: They hate in general?

György Köves: In general, yes. Not you, not me, but... the idea of a Jew.

Rozi: Great. Because I for one don't really know what that is.

    • György Köves: [hearing bombers overhead] Will it drop or won't it? That was the question. I just had to recognize the pittance of the stake, so that I could enjoy the game. I was beginning to grasp the simple secret of my universe. I could be killed anywhere, any time.

    • Bandi Citrom: Know what self esteem is? It's as important as bread and soup.
