I don't think this is a movie about right and wrong. Some people want to defy fate and change a person's origin in order to give love and fulfill themselves and others. This is a major matter, but it is a small detail. What can the male protagonist change if he reports to the police or not in the end, his fate will not be manipulated, but will only be seen slowly.
I once saw a Chinese twin. When they were first born, one was adopted by an American couple, and the other lived with their...

It was the things you don't choose that makes you who you are.
“I always believed it was the things you don't choose that makes you who you are. Your city; Your neighborhood; Your family. People here take pride in these things. Like it was something they'd accomplished. The bodies around their souls. The cities wrapped around those.”
“When I was young, I asked my priest how you could get to heaven and still protect yourself from all the evil in the world. He told me what God said to his children,’ You are sheep among wolves, be wise as...

So right and wrong have no meaning
Because of love, it has made a big mistake, which is even more heartbreaking. This kind of injury will be attached to your heart for a lifetime, lingering and unforgettable. Regret haunts the body like a shadow, a lifetime of guilt and anxiety.
Patrick is in the process of choosing, he has his own values, he is rational, he has his own right and wrong standards, right and wrong are absolute to him. The film arranged for him a partner Angela is a sentimental person. So, at the final...

As Ben Affleck's directorial debut, the film is very good. The appeal of the film is not a detective film, so in terms of rhythm and characterization, it appears to be relatively plain compared to genre films, but it is these peaceful advancements that make the film achieve its original purpose.
The protagonist thinks that he can see the peace in those unrest, but the peace is also contradictory.
Casey Affleck uses a very life-like performance to shape a not-so-simple story...

Movie Slow Talk [0161] Gone Baby Gone
2012-08-19The
photo of the missing girl seems to have been seen on the news, Ben Affleck dared to use the controversial scene in the director's "debut" on the big screen for the first time, and has been in Hollywood for many years fame still played a role. Although he is called a box office poison, he is getting better and better as a screenwriter and director.
When I saw the subtitles at the end of the film, Casey Affleck's name came up, and I suddenly felt that he and...

Thought-provoking film. Ben's directorial debut, another adaptation of Dennis Lehane's novel, starring Ben's younger brother Kathy, as well as Morgan Freeman and Ed Harris, is worth...

I was so excited that I wanted to give five stars, but after checking it turned out to be a script adapted from a novel...there were only four. Anyway, the ending is quite thought...

Detective Remy Bressant: Corwin Earle. Serial molester, recently work-release. Went AWOL around the time Amanda disappeared.
Nick Poole: Known associates - Leon Trett and his handsome wife, Roberta. The Tretts were released six and eight months ago, respectively. They have drug habits. We don't know where they are, but we think Corwin's with them. Jailhouse snitch claims that Corwin confided in him and told him when he got out, he was gonna move in with his family. Apparently, the three of them have some kind of Addams Family deal going on.
Detective Remy Bressant: Corwin's plan is to keep a kid in the house to have sex with.
Patrick Kenzie: Well, that sounds promising.
Detective Remy Bressant: Not for Amanda, it doesn't.
Angie Gennaro: Do you think this is who has Amanda?
Nick Poole: Well, there's a lot of holes in our theory. I mean, Corwin likes little boys, you know? He likes them seven or eight or nine.
Patrick Kenzie: So what kind of name is Bressant?
Detective Remy Bressant: It's the kind they give you in Lousiana.
Patrick Kenzie: Oh yeah? Thought you were from here.
Detective Remy Bressant: Well, it all depends on how you look at it. I mean, you might think that you're more from here than me, for example. But I've been living here longer than you been alive. So who's right?
Patrick Kenzie: I'll mull it over.
Detective Remy Bressant: How well do you know "Cheese" Jean Baptiste?
Helene McCready: Who?
Nick Poole: Come on, sweetheart. "Cheese" Jean Baptiste.
Helene McCready: Oh, sounds familiar.
Detective Remy Bressant: No. It don't "sound familiar", Helene. He's a violent sociopathic Haitain criminal named Cheese. Either you know him or you don't.
