      Snowpiercer--Rule Toward Destruction

An old order with oppression is better than no order at all. Changes from the bottom often lose themselves after reaching the top and become the type of people they hate the most. The highest levels do not take pleasure in exploitation. In order to maintain balance, extreme measures are inevitable. But there is no absolute balance, and no change can only delay the time of destruction. Brainwashing is horrible. Do not stand or...

      pure white black allegory

I watched Feng Junhao's "Snowpiercer" two days ago. This is his first English-language film, and the actors are big names from Britain, the United States and South Korea. The advancement of this movie is not in its cast, but in its concept. I don’t think anyone in China has made such revelatory sci-fi films, and no one has touched such dystopian themes. Probably they won’t pass the trial if they make them, because it’s a bit dangerous: these kinds of films are full of metaphors, big and small,...

      The whole thing is weird

I originally thought that the stalk of Snowpiercer came from a good movie, but as far as the part I watched, I didn't think about its extension and intention.

Regarding the background setting, the understanding is to simulate the end of the day, but there are a lot of bugs. It's too exaggerated to inject refrigerant to return to the ice age in such a short time and then gradually cool down to the point where humans can live in 18 years... and the previous one who stuck his arm out of...

      Is this also a masterpiece?

After watching it, I was about to turn off the computer, and found that this movie had a really high rating. For a while, I felt that my IQ was in a hurry, so I hurriedly read the reviews. After reading a few articles, I found out that the reason why this movie has a high rating is because the director is very good, the actors are also good, and there are political metaphors... It's a pity that I don't know the director or the actors. I'm really ashamed. Think of it as a...

      film and ideology

"Society is like a bamboo pole divided into sections. A man's great work is to climb up a class higher than his own, and that class above uses all its strength to prevent him from climbing up."----- Stendhal (author of Red and Black)
"Without Mr. Wilford, without the perpetual motion train he built
, everyone would freeze to death outside. But there are people who are dissatisfied with Mr. Wilford's Arrangements, even trying to blow up the train..."-----Secretary Mason (film...

There are two translations at the end, but I thought it would be more meaningful to be a successor after being successfully brainwashed in Curtis. Today's ending seems redundant and powerless. It's still a work that can't carry ambition, but the most interesting thing is that it's really clever to choose a carrier like a train. PS: The acting of the goddess has exploded...

I didn't feel that the amount of information was very large, but there were slightly more slots and a little general. I feel that this is the least delicate movie of Feng Junhao's characters. Although the interpretation of the new world is relatively complete, there are many clever ideas, and the part of watching flowers is also very good, but Feng Junhao is indeed worth expecting more. what....

Although the circular train intuitively condenses social classes, it also always symbolizes the cycle of post-postmodern and pre-premodern (or even the beginning). Characters/human beings are always in a state of progress, but because they have reached the end of the road (to the head car) and have no way to retreat, the two representatives of human beings who were conceived and conceived broke through the ignorance and abandoned the rotten civilization, in order to solve the problem of human...

The two elements of heavy snow and train are in my strike zone, but the details of the plot are a little rough. According to this world view, there is no need to keep the residents of the bottom compartment at all, and children can also be made out of clones. Why do we need to keep these...

It's a very simple political metaphor, and the viewing effect is okay. And Bong Joon-ho's usual black humor, is it a pity that he couldn't make "Old Boy" after the axe fight in the...

    Behind the scenes gags

The part of Wilford originally liked Dustin Hoffman, but Dustin Hoffman, who was willing to play, failed to make the trip due to some objective reasons. Then the role also considered Kliftov Walken and Roman Polanski, and eventually fell on Ed Harris.
Tilda Swinton first met with Bong Joon Ho at the Busan Film Festival in 2009. The two fans of each other later met at the Cannes Film Festival and decided to film together, so there was a...

    Evaluation action

"Snow Country Train" is an ambitious, excellent visual effect, rich in content, and very satisfying future epic. Director Bong Joon-ho is a talented director from South Korea. ("Variety" magazine)
Whether mainstream Western audiences can accept this dark and cruel type is unknown, but Bong Joon-ho has defeated Hollywood in his own way. "Snow Country Train" tells an excellent doomsday sci-fi story, and is a very unique and exciting...

    Movie quotes

    • Edgar: They've got no bullets!

    • Wilford: Have you ever been alone on this train? When was the last time you were alone? You can't remember, can you? So please do. Take your time.

    • Mason: Order is the barrier that holds back the flood of death. We must all of us on this train of life remain in our allotted station. We must each of us occupy our preordained particular position. Would you wear a shoe on your head? Of course you wouldn't wear a shoe on your head. A shoe doesn't belong on your head. A shoe belongs on your foot. A hat belongs on your head. I am a hat. You are a shoe. I belong on the head. You belong on the foot. Yes? So it is. In the beginning, order was proscribed by your ticket: First Class, Economy, and freeloaders like you. Eternal order is prescribed by the sacred engine: all things flow from the sacred engine, all things in their place, all passengers in their section, all water flowing. all heat rising, pays homage to the sacred engine, in its own particular preordained position. So it is. Now, as in the beginning, I belong to the front. You belong to the tail. When the foot seeks the place of the head, the sacred line is crossed. Know your place. Keep your place. Be a shoe.
