      water life

Steve (Bill Murray) is a director of marine documentaries, and his works once filled the childhood of many children with dreamy colors. In a shoot, Steve's old friend died in the mouth of a jaguar shark, which made Steve so bad that he vowed to find the tiger shark and avenge his friend, and made this the subject of the new film. At the press conference, Steve met Ned (Owen Wilson), who claimed to be his son, and he invited the young man to join his creative team. Steve has to face many...

      water life

Listening to the national match, so nostalgic.
Unexpectedly, it turned out to be in 2004. I thought it was a film from the 1980s and 1990s?
Oh my god, is this level of film made in 2004? Independence Day in 1996, which streets were stronger?
I originally thought it was a film from the 1980s and 1990s, but out of nostalgia, I wanted to give it six or seven stars.
Seeing that it was 2004, it was definitely a failed film.
It really doesn't look any different from Jaws...

      Another good Wes Anderson movie

After I saw the Grand Budapest hotel, I googled Wes Anderson, and found out that he is the director of Rushmore, which I watched years ago and really liked, the soundtrack I still listen to from time to time. I loved Grand Budapest Hotel as well, so I started watching other Wes Anderson movies.

Speaking of directors with unconventional movies, several names come to mind, Coen brothers, Quentin Tarantino (whose movies I never really got and did not like), Paul Thomas Anderson, David...

Flirting with Loss - Life in the Water

I personally like this kind of boring and humorous films.

Wes Anderson, the director of "Life in the Water", seems to have made a total of four films so far, and I have only watched the last two, namely "The Royal Tenenbaums" and this "Life in the Water". Interestingly, I'm obsessed with his kind of rambunctious, kind of rascal, kind of indifferent, kind of serious tone. This may be a little bit like watching what you do, probably because most of the good friends in my life are...

Life in the water - Captain Zissou's midlife crisis

I have no regrets about the two hours I spent watching this movie. It turned out that I could not fully understand a movie without the subtitles, at least this movie. Thinking about it, it should be the somewhat vague pronunciation of the old man Bill Murray.
My sister, who grew up in the United States, said she didn't understand the movie either. Think maybe it's another weird trick by Wes Anderson, or another monologue that seems like a midlife crisis by Bill Murray, still a little...

Super invincible drag, in a hurry, the plot can't support the story, a little exaggerated, and the location is relatively unsuccessful. There are still a few highlights: 1. It was really Blanchett when I went there, but unfortunately it looks very artificial in Wechsler's works; 2. Uncle Da is a little cute, but also very fake; 3. MGG's cuteness and Wei Wei His works can be naturally blended; 4. The last half hour is better; 5. I don't know why I get drunk when I see a little bit of Resnais'...

Maybe we'll all find our jaguar shark eventually. I like Wes Anderson's handling of the relationship between people, especially relatives. Feelings are really delicate things. Seu Jorge's adaptations are...

    Shooting scene

In order to make the shooting objects more real and natural, most of the underwater world scenes in the film use stop motion animation. Director Wes Anderson used a combination of live action and static animation to anthropomorphize all the animals in the underwater world and let them jump in the water world.
Another scene in the film is the expedition ship Belavente piloted by Steve Zesso and the expedition team. After searching, the...

    Evaluation action

The film’s fantastic ideas are endless. There are not only a group of weird people in the film, but also pirate attacks, tights, hostage rescue, gun battles, endangered rare cannibal turtles and so on. The film seems to be a medieval nautical chart full of weird creatures, seemingly chaotic, but in fact every stroke is carefully planned and drawn (review of "Movie World")   .
All the depictions of marine life in the film are colorful...

    Movie quotes

    • Oseary Drakoulias: Good lord. God protect that poor little stooge.

    • [On the phone, Oseary tells Steve that he has to flee the country]

Steve Zissou: Wait a second. They ripped off my film, my boat's broken, you're ditching me down the river... what am I supposed to do?

Oseary Drakoulias: Well, I must say, nothing's leaping to mind. Phillip, any ideas?

      [pause]

Oseary Drakoulias: No, he's shaking his head.

    • Oseary Drakoulias: By the way, who knocked up the journalist?

Steve Zissou: [Deadpan] I'm not sure...
