If a Martian who has never been exposed to Star Wars sees our movies, they might say that Star Wars 1 (1977) is not that good, and Prequel 1 is not that bad.
It's strange for people on earth to live and die for this kind of thing.

The great George Lucas made Star Wars that changed movie history, created unparalleled childhoods for countless people, and made the infamous prequel that almost ruined the series. Star Wars fans have experienced 30 years with this movie. After years of love and hatred, and finally forgive Lucas, the fans are also great! Jay Sylvester: [regarding the changes made to the original Star Wars trilogy] George Lucas may be the brainchild behind Star Wars; he may have come up with the story and a lot of the characters, but everyone who participated in making those films had some type of creative input. I mean they won an Oscar for best special effects. Some of those effects are stripped out and replaced with CGI enhancements, if you wanna call them that. I think that that's really disrespectful to the people who worked on those models and did those shots.
