      Insulted Dickens

The chaotic racial relationship in it is not so much a courtesy of the market or a compromise that I can't breathe, it's more like a satire of Dickens's original work.

The offspring of the two whites are Indians, and David Copperfield is more like the birth of his mother and an Indian doctor, completely ruining my three views. Agnes, who is gentle, skillful and fair-skinned, is actually a vicissitudes of old black woman. The casting of the main actors is...

[Film Review] The Death of Stalin (2017) and The Personal History of David Copperfield (2019)

A one-two punch of two feature films from Scottish satirist Armando Iannucci, THE DEATH OF STALIN is an irreverent satire of the power struggle between the party leader Nikita Khrushchev (Buscemi) and the chief of the People's Commissariat for Internal Affairs (NKVD), Lavrentiy Beria (Beale) in the aftermath of Stalin's demise in 1953, mustering an...

      This movie is brave

It's not a film review, express opinions.

The awesome point is that this movie bravely abandons a thousand-year-old concept: race.

There is no concept of "race" in this movie.

People are people, and everyone is everyone.

Who are you who is who is who is who is who is who is who she is.

Actors act and tell stories in their own roles, and tell stories that belong to their own...

The hero is the starring slum millionaire

Dickens’s five-stage neat novel is a film adapted from the whole, with a lot of laughter and a compact plot

Part1 When I was a child, I was bullied by my stepdad and thrown to work in a bottle factory

Part2 was taken in by a liar

Part3 was taken in by Aunt

Part4 Fall in love with Dora

Part5 Come together with true love

PS: I watched the raw meat shown in UK, the following is a vocabulary collation

Originally thought it was a documentary about a magician, but at the end, it had nothing to do with magicians, nor did it have anything to do with documentaries, or Dickens' novel, but the film was too absurd, and there must be no emotional resonance or depth. What connotation can be seen, the actors' performances are exaggerated, the characters have no typical characteristics, the plot has no ups and downs, and there is nothing amazing on the screen. By the way, it's really unbearable for the...

There is a discrepancy with the original, because the story is too long and the plot can only be expressed in haste, the characters are not fresh, the feelings are not real, and even the plot is a bit...

    Evaluation action

The reorganization of some themes in the narrative tendencies of the screenwriter Armando Iannucci failed to support the work "The Personal History of David Copperfield". The entertainment of the film is only superficial. In many cases, it will make the audience lose their balance and unsure how the story will develop-whether you have read the novels of Charles John Huffam Dickens or not, you will feel this way. The film once again...

    • [First lines]

[Applause from the audience as David Copperfield appears on the stage]

David Copperfield: Thank you. Whether I turn out to be the hero of my own story or whether that station will be held by anybody else these moments must show.

    • Betsey Trotwood: Peggotty? Peggotty? Peggotty? You mean to say a human being went into a church and had herself named Peggotty? Did you mother sneeze when you were christened?

    • Betsey Trotwood: My late brother all over. Calls a house a rookery, takes the rooks on trust. A better name would have been Gullible Manor.
