      Alive is better than anything

I watched this movie late at night. After watching it, what should I say, I have mixed feelings. I have always liked to depict the movies of that era, but I often feel heavy. I remember that when I was just learning English, the teacher said the difference between live and life. One is that in addition to being alive, there are other demands such as happiness and spirituality, and the other is simply to survive. Fugui's life was ups and downs, disasters came later than happiness, even if he...

What episodes of "Alive" impress you

What touched me the most was the part about Fengxia's production. Because of the national policy, all the old doctors were arrested, leaving a group of nurses to manage the entire hospital. In the end, Fengxia died because of lack of experience. It's really unfair to think about it. Xia doesn't need to die at all, she has completely become a victim of the times, and another point is that the rich and noble were captured to fight there, and in the end everyone was gone, he asked the person...

Life is like a drama, drama is like life

Zhang Yimou's "Alive" in the opening remarks
has always been talked about by everyone as his early representative works. What I am concerned about is that it selects the traditional image of shadow puppetry, which runs through the whole film. Compared with the same classic "Farewell My Concubine" of the same period, it is a movie that tells about the life and emotions of the actors. Although their expressions and forms of expression are different, they also give people a feeling that life...

1994 movies, Baidu Encyclopedia, found that the release countries include France, the Netherlands, Germany, Spain, Sweden, the United States, Japan. No China. Such a good movie is a banned movie. Banned films in China are very distinctive.

Speaking from the 1940s, the 1950s, the 1960s... There are too many typical clips condensed into one movie. I wanted to introduce the plot, but found it to be very boring. The film depicts the characteristics of each era on Xu Fugui, sculpting life w

      Why be politically correct

If you are asked to shout a slogan, you will be given 100 yuan if you shout, and you will be scolded to greet your family if you do not shout. Do you shout? If that sentence happens to be "Long live Mao Zedong", do you really care what the content of this sentence is?

When I was in middle school, I thought that the people of the Great Leap Forward and the Cultural Revolution were stupid, and that they had to ask Chairman Mao for instructions before getting married. Watching this movie...

After being abused by the book, I insisted on watching the movie. Ge You deserves to be the actor because of the film. One look can reflect the face of suffering, but I don't like the movie. I changed a lot of plots to control the rhythm, but I still can't express Yu Hua's love for life. understand. In the end, there is still a reason for banning the film. It restores the original appearance of history, and it tickles the teeth of the...

When the Cultural Revolution began in the 1970s, a reporter who came to Bao Island to interview Zhongzheng asked how he viewed the movement on the mainland. Zhongzheng sighed and replied: People in the mainland who are not tortured by hell (Jiang is a Christian) will not recognize the essence of the Communist...

A 2-hour film that records the changes in modern China. I can't forget Gong Li's cry in the deep alley. A family's fate has experienced ups and downs, there has been pain and happiness, and after all, it is still alive. We are all alive at this...

    Creative background

The movie "Lifetimes Living" is adapted from Yu Hua's novel of the same name. Zhang Yimou chose Yu Hua's novel to shoot because this subject fits his desire to "challenge the self in the past". Zhang Yimou first fancyed Yu Hua's other novel " The Mistakes by the River ". Because he wanted to understand him comprehensively, Zhang Yimou asked to see all of his works. Yu Hua gave Zhang Yimou a copy of "Lifetimes Living". After reading...

    Evaluation action

"Lifetimes Living" is a Chinese-style black humor film, and it is also a long film that spans a long period of time. It is praised by some audiences and film critics as one of Zhang Yimou's best works. Through a person's life experience, the film covers the pain of life beyond the control of one's destiny in history, and derives a wry smile at death. In Fugui’s life, from the initial drunkenness to the fear of five guns, to the grief...
