      The omitted lives of widows

I thought it was a widow's stunt, "Hiding the Sky: The Beauty's Plan"; I didn't expect the core to be full of realism and self-deprecation: not every widow is Mu Guiying who avenged her deceased husband. After the fluttering sweet words, she acted as a cash machine and a nanny. She thought she was living in love. Before she was immersed in her dream, Huang Liang was awakened to collect the body for her husband, and was burdened with the debts and grievances imposed by the world.

"The Widows League" is really, really bad, don't blow it, okay?

There are many lines in this film, mainly focusing on the rise of women. I thought it was a story about the death of men and the rise of women, but it turned out that the rise of women was too inexplicable. One was a teacher's union, one opened a shop, and one made vases at home. , a haircut and help take care of the children, just planned it casually, and robbed the money easily. Are you kidding? Especially the black female protagonist, as soon as she came up, she assigned the task as the...

Woman dares to stage her own robbery to review 2018 movie 'Widow'

Among the many Heist films, there are not many female gang leaders, such as "A Fish Called Wanda (1988), Set It Off (1996) or Ocean's 8 (2018). The 2018 film Widows is another one, with Its complex plot clues, tangled emotional connections, the shaping of elegant and powerful heroines and the social background of the rampant dark forces create a rigorous and exciting Drama (drama drama). And in the process of execution, Widow lacks some necessary shots compared to the excellent works of...

watched it almost three weeks ago

Acting was excellent, and I love Viola Davis. Didn't know until I did some post-movie googling that I found out it's based on an old TV show. I went in totally because of the director Steve McQueen and Davis.

Race as an issue was ever present but wasn't voiced until the latter half of the movie, especially with McQueen's choice to cast a black actress as the main character. I remember from some interview that McQueen deliberately chose a love scene as the beginning, one with an...

      The spiritual outburst of minorities

The Widows League, a symbol of a group of people who have grown spiritually among American minorities, regained their strength and fought against the corrupt political and economic system based on power and money.

Basically, it's a "family affair" in America.

Whether it is white or a minority, as long as they plunge into the social system, they will unscrupulously and endlessly plunder power and money, both of which could have been used to help those in need, but are used in the...

Different from simple racial films and gender films, this film presents a complex social picture, a convincing cruel world. I haven't seen such a complicated movie in a long time, there is no routine to rely on. very...

    Evaluation action

"Widows" has become a masterpiece that is both artistic and interesting, with no shortage of horror. The film is full of memorable sociological details, and therefore creates a convincing and complex background, as well as a powerful and presence-filled presentation by Viola Davis. However, for this kind of robbery that occurred in modern Chicago, the movie may not be the most appropriate way of expression. Such a complex story longs...
