The perspective is chaotic, the structure is ambiguous, the characters are instrumentalized, the era is filmed, and the historical plot is dramatic. There is no reflection, no choice, no attitude or stand, the Great Depression and World War II are just irrelevant lines, so why does Manke drink alcohol and just like it? 130 minutes of Mank is not as solid as a few minutes of Faulkner in Button Funk.

The film itself is great Amanda is beautiful but it's a little too difficult for me to understand every line
