I watched the old version in the dormitory of the university about three years ago. At that time, it only looked good, but had no other feelings. This time, after reading the second chapter, I instantly have a new feeling for this movie. I have to say that the classic remake is a challenge. Because the first chapter was not as good as I imagined, I actually didn't have much expectations when I watched the second chapter. But the director slapped me hard in the face, this chapter is completely full of everyone's story, even if you almost forgot about the first chapter, but you can clearly understand everyone's story and past from the movie, they The joys and horrors of that summer.
The movie completely describes how "it" came from, and the existence of "it" has not forgotten the villain while enriching the protagonists. The director also let us see everyone's story and enriched everyone's roles through great editing skills and transitions. I have to say that the editing of the shots in this movie is really good, and the transitions in many places are perfect, and you will not feel abrupt because of the sudden memories.
"Your memory will only remember what you want to remember". Except MIKE, everyone else left the town, they forgot that summer, because they didn't want to remember, or "it" didn't want them to remember. Until that call, until they come back.
Each of them firmly believes that they can do it together, but they have to face their own fears on their own. Everyone is different, but you can only beat him when you can face your fears.
The scene I remember the most is the moment when BEN and BEV were about to be overwhelmed, they heard each other's call, and at that moment, they both defeated each other's fears and faced their own hearts. When everyone faces "it", they are actually facing their own fears, such as Bill always regretting his brother's departure, RICH has never dared to face his true self, and so on. In fact, "it" can also be seen as something that you fear in your heart, so when you believe that "it" is not really scary and that you can defeat "it", "it" is nothing.
During the film, the memories of the protagonists are constantly interspersed, and you can get some relief from the horror of the film, because those happy and warm memories they once had are true, while those illusions caused by fear are false. of. This film, through the constant transformation of the camera lens, brings us each person's story, and also brings us different feelings. Remakes are actually hard, especially classic remakes. I've seen a lot of horror movies, and in order to stand out, you have to be innovative. This time, I think "Joker's Soul 2" did it.
When watching a movie, because it was an early show, there were only a few people in the whole movie, and many of them were just like me. Watching a movie alone made me feel that watching a movie alone is not so scary, nor as much as I imagined. Lonely.
