Everyone, let's read the original

The previous Jack Lane films were at least interpreted by powerful movie stars, Alec Baldwin and Harrison Ford. I'm not familiar with the former one, it seems that I have done more TV series, so I don't need to go into more details about the latter one. And the actor of "Shocking Nuclear Network", Brother Xiaoben, common, and butter niche! Compared to Jack, the witty, courageous and family-loving man in the original book, I think he is more than a little tender.
The novel connects the main lines of the story well. Watching this movie, do you understand how the nuclear bomb was made and who is behind the scenes? Although it is somewhat clueful, I think the director did not present this story to the audience in its original flavor. His ability to control a complex plot is really not good. Of course, the novel can be unlimited in length and slowly let the plot unfold. This movie lasts for two full hours, and it didn’t let you restore the original work in every detail, but I think it’s incredibly slow when I watched it. The key plot is not narrated, so I went to film Jack’s pick-up girl. How could this make me feel so embarrassed. what. However, the last conversation between Jack and the Russian president was quite exciting, and this scene embodies Jack Lane's style.
John Clark in the movie btw is also one of the main tasks of Clancy’s novels, which is the small special forces head played by Dr. Green Goblin in "Burning Eyebrows".

The Sum of All Fears quotes

  • Jack Ryan: Nemerov has thousands of bombs. Why does he need to build a secret one?

Bill Cabot: Deniability. Build one nobody knows about, he could drive it to Chechnya in the trunk of his Beemer. No way to track it. No way to trace it. He could set it off, sit back and say "I didn't do it."

Jack Ryan: With all due respect, sir, I don't think that adds up.

Bill Cabot: It adds up. You just don't like what it adds up to.

  • Jack Ryan: Sir, I write reports.

Bill Cabot: I reviewed your military records, Jack. You can take care of yourself.

Jack Ryan: Yes, sir, but I'm not trained for that.

Bill Cabot: I'm not asking you to be an operations officer, just my eyes and ears. I can't go.

Jack Ryan: So, this isn't sanctionend.

Bill Cabot: [giving him a small plastic case] I want you to give this to Clark, see what he finds out, bring it home.

    Jack Ryan: Yes, sir.

Bill Cabot: [Jack opens the car door] Jack. We never had this discussion.

    Jack Ryan: What discussion?
