what can stop us?

There is a long way to go. Jack&rose, who was still in his youth back then, would have looked like this if it hadn't been because of the shipwreck. Before they knew it, they were no longer as youthful as they used to be. Probably all of Titanic's fans are looking forward to them working together again and becoming good friends on the screen. Unfortunately, after watching this film, such a wish should be completely in vain. The beautiful sentimentality between the princes and princesses was poured cold water on the head by reality, and it cooled to the bottom of my heart.

At the beginning of the film, they fall in love at first sight and eventually become a couple. And then the days go on until the moment of death. The passion of life disappears, and the work becomes tasteless. What follows is unbearable quarrels, abuse of each other, and at that moment wishing for each other to die. Then the guy eats and has sex with the girl who is almost unknown. When it comes to childhood, I vowed not to be the same as my father, but in the end, it was still the same. You think you are special and that you can do something different. In the end, you found out that you are actually an ordinary person, and you can only compromise with reality.

But April still wanted to make some changes to find an outlet for this dullness. They have a lot of good ideas and are excited about the new life to come. Take this as a secret joy to each other that cannot be shared with others. They don't know that this is actually the last straw for this dying marriage. And because of this incident, the two people who have rekindled their passion seem to have given us some hope. But what a terrible thing passion is, short and strong enough to push a man into the abyss and willingly. They asked each other, WHAT CAN STOP US... Many, many things are actually excuses, just because we are used to being comfortable and sticking to the old rules.

On the surface, the reason for blocking them, in addition to new opportunities in work, is the arrival of unexpected lives. So April collapsed, roaring: We're here because we had our first child, and then a second. . Because of the birth of a new life, I settled down, cleaned up my former dreams, and lived a dull life at home. This also seems to be a good choice, but unfortunately, it is unwilling.

And after the quarrel in the second half of the film, April rushed out the door. I thought she was going to kill this life in her body, as uneasy as Frank was. In the end, it was she who was dressed neatly the next day, as if nothing had happened. If the film ends here, it might be a different experience. But this is a movie, maybe it should be sharper. So April went upstairs after watching Frank go. I thought she would choose suicide. As a result, she chose to start with the child at this time. The bright red blood, on the body and the carpet, was startling. The woman is already despairing, and in this way, she also ends her own life.

We say, to communicate more. For her, it was the result of a failed communication that led to this nightmare. Not necessarily Paris, she said. But it has to be somewhere. She pinned her hopes on another place, but who can guarantee that after arriving in Paris, the same mistakes will not be repeated?

The film is so heavy, but it does not give a clear answer. Life may be an unknown.

It's not about marriage, it's about modern illnesses of modern people. Emptiness, numbness, hypocrisy, chicken thief. Marriage is just a stage.

Revolutionary Road quotes

  • John Givings: You a lawyer, Frank?

    Frank Wheeler: No, I'm not.

John Givings: I could use a lawyer...

Mr. Howard Givings: John, let's not get started again about the lawyer.

John Givings: Pop, couldn't you just sit there and eat your wonderful egg salad, and quit horning in?

    [Returns his attention to Frank]

John Givings: See, I've got a good many questions to ask and I'm willing to pay for the answers... Now, I don't need to be told that a man who goes after his mother with a coffee table is putting himself in a weak position, legally; that's obvious.

Mrs. Helen Givings: John, come and have a look out this fabulous picture window.

    [She walks to the window]

John Givings: If he hits her with it and kills her, that's a criminal case...

Mrs. Helen Givings: Oh, look, the sun's coming out!

John Givings: If all he does is break the coffee table and give her a certain amount of aggravation and she decides to go to court over it, that's a civil case...

Mrs. Helen Givings: Maybe we'll see a rainbow! John, come have a look...

John Givings: Ma, how about doing everybody a favor? How about shutting up?
