This is the story and sadness of an age

Watching this movie with a feeling of déjà vu. . .
Similar protagonists of similar eras,
but the male protagonist has gone from being an ad man on Madison to being a salesman . He
has a successful career and supports his entire family. He
cheats , but in the end, he will return to his own home
. The problem is a housewife who needs psychological counseling. The wife
has two lovely children.

This may be a typical type of couple in that era. They
lived a prosperous life. Very lonely Before they got married, they had dreams they wanted to pursue or careers that seemed like a duck to water, but marriage and children made them settle down. They could only choose to live with their husbands and children, and live a life that could see the end at a glance. Those who have the courage to change, like APRIL, want to jump out of this. In the end, the circle failed tragically and lost her life . She didn't have the courage to change, like Bets in mad men. She lived in depression every day, waiting for silence or eruption . She didn't like april. From the beginning of the film, she suppressed her and was disappointed in herself because failed to play the role well. She is far away from the drama of her existing life She is crying alone in the background She is struggling to find an exit for herself Paris is only her exit, not Frank's, so it is destined that the end of this revolutionary road is to leave alone

Revolutionary Road quotes

  • Frank Wheeler: How do I know you didn't try to flush our entire fucking family down the toilet?

  • John Givings: You want to play house you got to have a job. You want to play very nice house, very sweeeeeet house; then, you got to have a job you don't like! Anyone comes along and says, "What do you do it for?" he's probably on a four-hour pass from the state funny farm. All agreed?
