Obviously, Jim Jarmusch wanted to use this work to strike a balance between the so-called art film and commercial film, but, unfortunately, he messed up this time.
The problem was mainly due to Jim Jarmusch's ignorant understanding of Japanese culture. Then, through this understanding, he expressed it in a form that made Westerners feel like falling into the fog and made Easterners feel nondescript. As a result Of course it will not be good. (Seriously, at this point, he really should learn from another American director, the self-proclaimed ruffian, who is actually quite literate Quentin Tarantino).
