It was definitely the reappearance of Police Officer McClain, but unfortunately the real body appeared and turned into the old and tired Willis again.
Science fiction is just a condiment, and an agent is a continuation of the real body. Unlike the soul under the shell, the human mind is not so painful, but enjoys the process of agency very much. Only a few people objected, and the film didn't show too much conflict between these people and the robots.
Without these entanglements, there is also less room for imagination. Although the space is quite dated.
The whole film is fairly smooth, there is basically no cold scene, and there are not too many ups and downs when the suspense is revealed. I really don't know if it's a success or a failure.
