After watching "Madagascar 1, 2, 3" with my daughter, I added two short films "Madagascar Christmas" and "Madagascar Penguin Christmas Adventure".
In fact, Madagascar is not the kind of movie that is particularly warm, profound or inspirational, maybe a little bit, but the core is still funny, and it is ridiculously funny. Many of the jokes are of Zhou Xingchi's style, and they are not high-level. I can think of a lot of people who don't like stories like this, and like me.
I guess Madagascar decided to make a trilogy from the beginning, and from one to two to three, the whole story is very complete. From leaving, to finding roots, to recognizing his heart and choosing to wander after returning, he found friendship, love, and family in the process. Even the third film, where the villain was put in a box and sent to Madagascar, seemed like a nostalgic reminiscence of the first.
If you can, you should try to watch the English version of the movie, because neither the Taiwanese version nor the mainland version can fully express the humor in the English version of the lines. For example, when I was watching "The Godfather", I wondered why the protagonist's accent was so weird. After watching "Madagascar 3", I realized that it was English with an Italian accent. And the Indian accented English of the long-tailed lemur, which should also be done on purpose. Of course, if you watch the English version, you will miss some pictures because you pay attention to the subtitles, but fortunately, there are often not many lines in the gorgeous pictures.
The movie pays homage to many things, such as "The Lion King" and "Chicken Run", which mocks the American trade union system. It also reminds me of Teacher Zhao Lirong's "I am a militia platoon leader", and all kinds of malicious touches in China. Porcelain; 3 In addition to "The Godfather", it also paid tribute to "The Matrix", "Fight Club", "Roman Holiday" and "Mission Impossible". There are many other stalks, and whether you can get them depends entirely on your breadth of coverage and memory level.
There are two very brainwashing and cheerful songs in the movie. The first two are "l like to move it", and the third is "Firework", which has a strong sense of rhythm.
From 2005 to 2009 to 2012, the picture of the three films is a leap forward. The first film still has obvious shortcomings, the second film is already outstanding, and the third film can be expected to be more exciting in 3D when watching it on TV, especially the firework circus scene, I really want to go to the cinema to watch it. Gorgeous and hilarious.
In the movie, penguins fall in love with dolls, giraffes fall in love with hippos, and lions fall in love with leopards. It turns out that love can not only transcend age, height, figure, appearance, gender, but also life and death and reproductive isolation (Zhou Xingchi laughs).
Judging from her daughter's feedback, she also likes the Madagascar series very much, obviously surpassing the "Frozen" series, "Toy Story" series, "Kung Fu Panda" series, and "Ice Age" series. I hope that the next "Penguins of Madagascar" for her to watch will satisfy her.
