After watching "Madagascar 1, 2, 3" with my daughter, I added two short films "Madagascar Christmas" and "Madagascar Penguin Christmas Adventure".
In fact, Madagascar is not the kind of movie that is particularly warm, profound or inspirational, maybe a little bit, but the core is still funny, and it is ridiculously funny. Many of the jokes are of Zhou Xingchi's style, and they are not high-level. I can think of a lot of people who don't like stories like this, and like me.
I guess Madagascar decided to make a trilogy from the beginning, and from one to two to three, the whole story is very complete. For example, when I was watching "The Godfather", I wondered why the protagonist's accent was so weird. After watching "Madagascar 3", I realized that it was English with an Italian accent. Of course, if you watch the English version, you will miss some pictures because you pay attention to the subtitles, but fortunately, there are often not many lines in the gorgeous pictures.
The movie pays homage to many things, such as "The Lion King" and "Chicken Run", which mocks the American trade union system. It also reminds me of Teacher Zhao Lirong's "I am a militia platoon leader", and all kinds of malicious touches in China.
