The road is long and the road is long, who can seek it up and down?

Was blocked and panic, after watching this film.
The gay rights movement, passionate, tragic, difficult, tortuous... Compared with all democratic rights movements, the gay movement is more tragic.
This is in a foreign country!
In China, Chinese comrades, how is the living situation? When I was in college, I knew a student who studied Chinese medicine. He was obsessed with the gay rights movement. However, when he implemented specific actions, he just reposted some content about gay rights on Weibo; he took the rainbow flag and the rainbow bracelet. Click on the photo...but, talk is better than nothing. However, from these developments to the parade, there is still a long way to go.
This is a slow process. I don't know what the so-called rights and interests refer to, and I have never understood the legal meaning of same-sex marriage. However, I saw such a sentence, saying why same-sex marriage is required to be legal, because when one party is critically ill, one party can sign as a family member.
There are only a small number of countries or regions in the world where same-sex marriage is legal. China is not only on this road for a long time, but it is too far to see the future. Even though, there is Li Yinhe's proposal on same-sex marriage. However, the gay community in China is more secure and pays more attention to the individual self, and there is not much enthusiasm and discourse about the overall rights and interests, at least as far as I can see, that is the case.
What's more, some non-LGBT people are formed by non-profit organizations to help the LGBT community.
There will definitely be progress, and there will definitely be changes, but how many people can stand up? Speak up for your rights.

Very powerful gay film, not like Van Sant's style, because the actors are too powerful, Sean Penn's performance is really amazing, even though it is a good film, he still resists being gay, and some parts are too hypocritical

Sean Penn did a great job

Milk quotes

  • Harvey Milk: [to Cleve Jones] You're going to meet the most extraordinary men, the sexiest, brightest, funniest men, and you're going to fall in love with so many of them, and you won't know until the end of your life who your greatest friends were or your greatest love was.

  • Harvey Milk: Okay. First order of business to come out of this office is the city-wide gay rights ordinance, just like the one that Anita shot down in Dade County. What do you think, Lotus Blossom?

Michael Wong: I think it's good. It's not great.

Harvey Milk: Okay, so make it brilliant. We want Anita's attention here, in San Francisco. I wanted to bring her fight to us. We need a unanimous vote - we need headlines.

Jim Rivaldo: Dan White is not going to vote for this.

Harvey Milk: Dan White'll be fine, Dan White is just uneducated. We'll teach him.

Dan White: [suddenly appearing in the doorway] Hey, Harv! Committee meets at nine-thirty.

    [to everyone else]

    Dan White: Hi, you guys.

    [to Harvey]

Dan White: Um, say, did you get the invitation to my son's christening? I invited a few of the other supes too.

Harvey Milk: Oh, well, I'll be there!

    Dan White: Great! Thanks.

    [waves at everyone and leaves]

Dick Pabich: Did he hear you?

    Jim Rivaldo: What the fuck?

    Anne Kronenberg: Are you going?

Harvey Milk: I would let him christen me if it means he's gonna vote for the gay rights ordinance.

Jim Rivaldo: [as Harvey is talking] I think he can hear you. Jesus.

    Harvey Milk: We need allies.

Dick Pabich: I don't think he heard you.

Cleve Jones: Is it just me or is he cute?
