Frankie could have avoided being so fierce to the seller that he hated him.
But people have their own beliefs and personalities.
Tom is upright and cherishes life, and his stubbornness is almost annoying. But he is indeed admirable and sympathetic. His persistence is not only for the potential victims of the missile, but also to save Frankie. Ford's acting skills are superb.
Frankie lived in a happy family since childhood. Beautiful seaside, warm lighting, sumptuous dinner, harmonious family. . . , He could have lived very ordinary and beautiful. The beginning of the film reminded me of epic life movies such as Legends of Autumn and Love in the River.
But all this, including my first impression of the film, was completely destroyed because of the shocking shooting in the room.
Since then, Frankie has embarked on the road of revenge.
Perhaps he was no longer a father later, but because of his insight, resentment, contempt and disdain for Govenment.
In short, he expects and believes that he can look good to those fucking guys.
His self-confidence, his compassion and true affection for his peers, and his spit on the government make Frankie sympathetic and affectionate.
I believe that most people tend to Frankie when watching movies, hoping that he can get revenge. At the same time, just like me, I hate Tom's nosy, staid face.
But don’t forget, Frankie’s actions will only hurt more civilians, more families, and more people living in a better life. As Tom said when he asked Frankie about the purpose of the money, "Is it for the 8-year-old boy to see that his father was shot?".
I believe that although everyone is inclined to Frankie, no one wants more children to become Frankie.
Tom is a good man!
