The Hollywood process, the end of Japan

The trailer for this movie is so cool, it makes me think I'm counting on it for Christmas month. As soon as the result was released, it was said that there were a lot of bad reviews, which made me hesitate for a while between this movie and the wolf of Wall Street where Xiao Lizi is said to be the best actor. Later, someone said that in fact, this movie is not as bad as the reviews... So watch it.

In all fairness, this is a very good Hollywood movie. Not as good as a first-class fantasy movie, but at least not worse than Chibi. Chinese people can still make Chinese legends like that. I have to say that the director is actually very attentive. As long as you don't look at Yuki Shibasaki's weird makeup, Rinko Kikuchi's weird kimono, and many imaginary Japanese details that can be seen as an oriental person, this film still shows attractive Japanese culture. Besides, it's also a fantasy movie, just watch it, don't be so critical.

The reason why I'm not picky is that the music, characters, and beauty are all in place, at least it's a MV for Japanese cultural and historical scenery... and the film's excellent cast. Seriously, don't speak English, Chinese actors can't find such a cast even if they speak Chinese! Maybe Li Bingbing can barely compete with Shibasaki's sister? Can Zhou Xun play Rinko Kikuchi? I really can't find the rest. Although the English is reluctant, the pronunciation is clear and the emotion is rich, which does not affect their expressiveness. Even the supporting roles are like this, they are simply used to slap the face of Chinese movies.

Well, finally, let's talk about the last ten minutes that have been criticized. Obviously, the previous story was completely a Hollywood revenge + romance, but the last ten minutes suddenly took a sharp turn, giving a Japanese ending. In fact, from the beginning to the end, I can see the director's love for the Japanese Bushido spirit, and he is definitely someone who has studied Kurosawa Akira Kitano's films. The director wanted to express a series of oriental aesthetics and ethical themes such as honor, life and death, and reincarnation, but the result was that Hollywood beauties wore cheongsams, and their body curves were too exposed, which made them look bad. The American audience in the movie theater was basically beating their chests and feet to express their incomprehension, and I also suffered from internal injuries. After leaving the cinema, we began to complain: why is this! ! ! The final conclusion is that Japan is a country with extremely scarce resources, so a strict and inhumane order must be developed to comply with it. Anyone who does not abide by this order will lead to the destruction of society, so there are so many unreasonable systems in Japan. This is not a practical provision, but an authoritative order.

Although Levi's has a little oriental temperament, I don't think he is suitable for acting in oriental movies. The special effects of the scenes seem to cost a lot of money, and the fire that the dragon breathes is better than the hobbit dragon.

Keanu is a pseudo-magic story mixed with Japanese culture. It is full of CG animation, bland, and it is extremely awkward to mix English with Japanese culture.

  • Yasuno: Kai, forgive me for not thanking you for defeating the beast and saving my life. A samurai does not take credit for victories of others.

    [Presents Basho's sword to Kai]

Yasuno: This belonged to Basho. A samurai wears two swords.

[Kai takes the sword and bows]

  • Ôishi: When a crime goes unpunished the world is unbalanced. When the wrong is unavenged the heavens look down on us in shame. We too must die for this circle of vengeace to be closed. We will leave this record of our courage so the world will know who we were and what we did. Tonight, we will regain our honor and avenge our lord. None of us knows how long he shall live or when his time will come, but soon, all that will be left of our brief lives is the pride our children feel when they speak our names.

[Summons Kai to sign the document]

    Ôishi: Kai.

Kai: [Kai signs his name and stamps his blood] We end this now.

    Ôishi: Now, we are 47!
