In July 2013, the verdict of the Zimmerman case triggered protests in different cities in the United States. The U.S. side was not over yet. A young man with a knife in Toronto, Canada was killed by nine shots while surrounded by a group of police. . It was against this social background that Fruitvale Station was released. Seriously, this movie appeared at the most appropriate moment.

Regardless of how fictitious the story itself is, I think the most successful part of this film is that it can arouse reflections on the opposite sides of society. This kind of reflection is not simply throwing all the mistakes to the law enforcement side, but by presenting such a simple but true incident, allowing the audience as spectators to consider how to avoid similar tragedies.

In fact, tragedies like this have never stopped happening. It is only in the era of smartphones with one device that material like this film will be released to the public. It's just that the most injured in the end will always be the disadvantaged groups in society.

At the end of the film, people can't calm down for a long time. .

The film tells the true story in a straightforward way. It's just an ordinary day. Oscar is going to celebrate his mother's birthday. However, when the audience was distracted by these trivial daily life, they were shot by the film, and then stopped at the end of the credits. There is no room for thought for shock.

Another story of a prodigal son, but where there are helpless people, there are rivers and lakes. The story is originally based on real stories. The use of the travel machine strengthens the sense of calm narrative and bystander, making the final climax even more intense under the calm pavement. However, the duration of the first half was not well controlled, and there was a sense of procrastination.
