Detective Pikachu—
After watching this movie, my heart is full of cuteness and softness. I have to admire the dream-making ability of American animation films. In the fantasy world, they have created a brand new film and television space.
Storylines are presented through reversals and linkages of characters. The terrifying Mewtwo that appeared at the beginning of the film, the doctor who pretended to be kind, the son of the doctor who was framed and replaced, the suspected Mewtwo, the loyal Pikachu who was suspected of betrayal, and reversed one by one in the second half of the movie .
The differences between the father and son of Tim and Harry over Pikachu's preferences due to companionship, and the entanglement with the father and son of the Doctor revolved around companionship. The world of Pokémon also gives everyone a sustenance and peace of mind for their inner loneliness.
The story is not complicated, it is very simple that the father is in a disadvantageous position in a case with only 4 protagonists, the son takes over to save the father, and finally relies on the cooperation of the father and son (here Pikachu has the father's soul) to save mankind and Pikachu in Fire and water. Movies with animation and live action don't have much to praise in detail, too much detail loses the illusory beauty of dreams.
But this story is really warm, like a trickle, nourishing everyone's lonely and sensitive nerves.
The animation setting of Pokémon is the first point I want to talk about. The images of Pokémon are very cute, and it can be seen that they are all image creations based on pets in the real world. But the Pokémon here are not just pets.
People's needs for Pokémon are the needs for companionship, the solution to loneliness, and the compensation for powerlessness. Seeing Pikachu's movement and stillness, my heart melted.
The film's handling of emotions is as indifferent as water, but the truth is seen in the ordinary.
Tim and the reporter's ignorant love development, without any vigorous expression, just a little bit of natural development from plain smiles and mutual assistance in cooperation.
The entanglement between Tim and his father has no conflict or resolution, only a little bit of eagerness in the loneliness, the moment of silently remembering hobbies, and the soul support at the juncture of life and death, and finally merged into a hug.
Tim and Pikachu, in the quarrels and the tension of Tim when Pikachu was injured, the friendship was revealed. This friendship is not deep, not eager, it is like water, whether you think about it or not, it is there.
Listening to thunder in a silent place, I love this style of expression.
I really want to have a Pikachu, I am very envious of the people who live in that world.
