'Killing Kennedy': The Shame Label of American Democracy

Although 50 years have passed since the Kennedy incident, the memory of the American people is unprecedentedly high. But as always, the government has not revealed the slightest truth. Perhaps, as mentioned in the film, we will have to wait decades before we know the cause and effect of the President's assassination. In fact, the film makes it very clear that this is a complete coup d'etat. So, when Kevin Costner finally revealed all the truth in his hoarse voice, he still didn't get the support of the jury, which is understandable. The winners are kings and the losers are bandits. No wise person will support a failed leader. Even in a country that advertises the legal system as its greatness, this is an insurmountable law of survival. As for why the government hides such a simple and clear truth, because such an assassination incident happened in a so-called democratic country, it is the greatest shame!

If the truth has been murdered by the government, if the people are no longer respected, then this place is not the country I was born in, and certainly not the country I want to live with all my life.

There will always be a kind of person in the world. They are very inconspicuous in the social mechanism and cannot change history. But when they recognize a fact and see through a lie, even if the opponent is the government, the state machine, he will not hesitate. The fight goes on! The final court speech brought tears to my eyes, and one of the lines said: A patriot is always ready to fight the government to defend his country.

We must never let the weight of this combination endanger our liberties or democratic processes.
