life should be like this

4 and a half stars.

Some movies, after watching, always want to applaud.

It should be my first time watching a black-and-white movie in the theater. I got used to it after watching it for a while. It's pretty good.

Compared with the "Why Home" in the same period, the dragon label version of this film basically has no deletions, which can be regarded as a surprise.

It didn't take two hours at all, and I finished it in a while.

Sometimes life is a running account. Under the anti-climax, the movie-watching mood is very subtle.

Under the attack of Hollywood blockbusters, cinema films need to be adjusted somewhat by art films.

"I wanted to make this movie. Because I knew I had to make a movie like this in my life, even if there was no audience."

I think it is probably one of the wishes of many directors that the director will come back to make this kind of movie after he has finished the Hollywood blockbuster. Alfonso Cuaron should be very satisfied.

Some people are not very satisfied, they don't reflect the big from the small, maybe they want more sublimation? But I like it that way.

Private images belong to the memory of that era. This type of movie is certainly not able to satisfy most audiences, but there must be a lot of people who like it.

I don't know if the form is greater than the content, or whether it is showing off.

But I think the photography is very good, the opening picture is a bit amazing, and I like some of the shots.

Details, metaphors are more. If you don’t read a lot of movies and don’t read movie reviews, some of the pictures will not be easy to understand.

Although the film is very objective, rational and restrained, at the end, it is still somewhat moved.

It's a pity that this movie still doesn't resonate with me much.

(I don't know why, after watching this film, it reminds me of "Happy Lazaro")

Cleo's destiny is dedicated to an unconditional life, and she's always ready to sacrifice herself for those she loves. There is a silent power to seeing the final cry and catharsis.

A semi-autobiographical film by Alfonso Cuarón. The protagonist is Cleo, a wealthy middle-class family and a maid in Mexico in the 1970s. There are personal shocks to grow, and there are times changes. He really is a tech guy. The sound and photography are exceptional. The long lens is very good, especially the seaside scene! Shooting at 65mm, the light, shadow and details are exquisite, and it is very beautiful to watch on the big screen. I think it's a bit unfortunate that this was released by Netflix. The small screen is definitely not suitable for theaters... The amateur heroine Yalitza Aparicio performed well. But one thing that feels a little lacking is the limited viewing angle. Since the characters all live in a relatively prosperous and stable life circle, they are not interested in current affairs. The turmoil in Mexico at that time actually belonged to a bystander who was separated by a layer. Although the maid's perspective touches on grassroots class and social fluctuations, with occasional connections (the Corpus Christi massacre), it is limited. In this part, there may be a bit of self-deprecation in the Cuarón film (?) The manor where the New Year dances and jumps and horses run. It was so close that everyone panicked and put out the fire...
