In sense8, the Wachowski sisters create theories at the genetic level, providing a new way for people to deal with loneliness. Unlike most films, where emotion is erased as a flaw in human evolution to remove feelings of pain or loneliness; in Utopian films, emotion is devalued, and the removal of emotion and social unrest is drawn Equals sign.
In super-sense hunting, super-emotional people interact with the flow of consciousness by sharing their emotions and thoughts. When the group of eight had supersensation at first, their emotions were undoubtedly the strongest; when they shared a visit, it was undoubtedly the closest spiritual distance.
What left the deepest impression in the first season was the scene where Lito cried alone in front of the entire wall of paintings in the Mexican art museum and Nomi appeared. Lito confides her love at first sight for Hernando to Nomi, and Nomi recounts her identity as a transgender. The sweetness of Lito and Hernando's first meeting and the agony of being lost now, the pain of Nomi's initial abuse and the comfort and happiness that are now constantly flowing between the two's consciousness. As two same-sex characters, the two seem to understand each other better, and in the end Lito is determined to get Hernando back. The stories they tell and the way they tell make me, the audience, hear not the particularity of LGBT emotions and experiences, but the struggles and growth that ordinary people have.
The super sense of Sun and the African brother (sorry, the original name is not very good at playing) is more interesting, one is deep and cold and the other is open and enthusiastic. When the two first met on the streets of Seoul, the younger brother's enthusiasm and optimism touched Sun, who stared blankly at the square, thinking about the younger brother's words. If the emotions cannot be shared, the words will not be able to directly hit the key points, and the water will flow past the ears, scratching the itch, and only feeling bored.

ps: Since almost all robots in movies will eventually breed emotions quietly, and people who have no emotions eventually fall in love, then emotion, at least in the cognition of filmmakers, is by no means a "defect".
