This piece is good, the room sucks

The moment I watched it, I was stunned. I didn't quite understand freak's idea. It's really self-willed to have money. Therefore, a bad film is still a bad film. It is useless to make a movie to justify its name, and use good acting skills to restore it. These days, it's just that everyone loves geeks and is obsessed with madness. You have to say that the room filmed Tommy's inner pain and loneliness and I have nothing to say. But it's just a rich man who wants to burn money and play Hollywood. I still don't like people who feel hurt, betrayed, and irritable. But how could Tommy care about this. People have money and capital to realize their dreams.

Also, I couldn't understand the general applause at the premiere, and some people in the comments said that people were crying, and that they watched the whole film with a smile. To be honest, I didn't even laugh in the whole movie. It's disgusting to see Tommy not giving the actors water to drink in the film, with a dictatorial face that I am the director and I have the final say. Wish they all went on strike, wish Greg had another show. So it's not touching at all and doesn't feel comedic. A normal person should laugh at him and spurn him. In the film, he kills himself at the end and everyone cheers, thinking, wow, this madman is finally dead. So the room looked very sad. People without talent and acting skills insisted on making movies. But, still, it's none of my business, he's rich anyway.

D / Compared to "Room", which is hopelessly mediocre, Fu Lanlan is more of a poor imitator. The premiere scene had me laughing and tears streaming down my face, proving that most of the blandness wasn't for nothing. The last egg is the finishing touch. I hope that there will be a richer and more stylized interpretation of this history in the future, not just such a conservative dream-chasing narrative.

Very pure joy. At the end of the movie, it did not give a relatively clear point of view and comment on this "wonderful work" through the ages, but paid tribute to / fooled the whole process by digging up the story of the characters. Do you think Franco really made Hosso sparkle? I think there is. But after all, the movie is submissive to the masterpiece, and it lacks a bit of its own opinion.

The Disaster Artist quotes

  • Juliette: [as Tommy is dry-humping her navel while filming the sex scene] I think you're aiming a little bit high.

Tommy Wiseau: I aim where I aim, just do the scene.

  • [first lines]

Kristen Bell: If you were to ask the five best filmmakers in the world right now to make a movie like this... it... it wouldn't even be in the same universe.

Ike Barinholtz: I was blown away. Like, like three minutes in, I turn to my friend, "This is the fucking greatest movie I've ever seen in my life."

    [chuckles]

Adam Scott: It has withstood, like, ten years? And people are still watching a movie and talking about a movie. People aren't doing that about whatever won the Oscar for Best Picture ten years ago.

Kevin Smith: What genius is behind this?

Keegan Michael Key: Tommy wanted to break... Tommy wanted to break barriers in filmmaking.

Lizzy Caplan: I think that he had a very clear vision.

Kevin Smith: He is a figure of mystery where, you know, you do wanna learn more about him.

Danny McBride: Who is this man? Who is this auteur?

Adam Scott: The kind of sheer ambition of it... is... is in-incredible.

J.J. Abrams: The numbers probably prove how unlikely it is that you'll make it.

Adam Scott: If I had a time machine, I wouldn't go do a bunch of stu... uh, stuff you... I would go back and try and get on that set just to watch and feel what it was like 'cause it has to be... unbelievable.
