personal analysis

I've seen a lot of analysis on this movie. There are too many, and I personally feel that a lot of said thinking is confusing.
In fact, the movie has already ended from the beginning.
First of all, we must make one thing clear, that the hero is a fine-grained person. At the beginning, the heroine was already dead, and the heroine appeared in the male lead's various thoughts at the beginning, or the face that turned into a ghost after sleeping with the male lead, you can find that the heroine is actually dead. And the heroine picks up the video tape at the door every day, which is actually shot on the other side of her own essence.
But this time is actually in reality. Later, the plot is that the male protagonist finds the police. As a result, the police find the body and the videotape of his dismembered body, and then go to the prison. The plot has actually ended here.
But the director's thinking changed, and this is what makes this show more brain-burning. The male protagonist suddenly changed his face and was released. I personally think that from the moment he was released, it was all the male protagonist's fantasy.
The male protagonist fantasizes that he has become a young guy, even has another life of his own, and even has parents. The whole fantasy also explained his wife's cheating experience, which is the introduction of the mustache, Mr. Di got on his wife, but became two identical women. Personally think that it is his love and hatred for his wife, and it becomes Alice and his wife. Alice was forced to even love the guy, and his wife was a whore, and this love and hate mixed into two different women. The death of Moustache and Mr. Di also led the police to investigate at the scene, indicating that the incident happened in recent days. This is both true and false, and there is no explanation for the ending, but it makes the whole drama even more confusing. If the whole show is real, then this is a ghost movie. (Personal analysis, don't spray if you don't like it)

It's both real and fantasy. The scattered memory fragments are mixed together and left for the audience to ponder. This film is really hard to understand. No wonder so many people don't like it. I gave it five stars because I feel that this sea is quite interesting, and the soundtrack in it It turned out to be my favorite German chariot. I was excited when I heard the music, and this is a very pornographic and violent movie. The faint-hearted should not enter.

The real time of the story ends before the transformation in prison. At the end of the film, the car is superimposed on the real scene of being electrocuted. Therefore, the perspectives of the two protagonists of the story are the near-death hallucinations of mixed memories, which have the mechanism of dreams.

Lost Highway quotes

  • [Pete, disturbed by the saxophone music on a radio, switches the channels]

Phil: What'd you change it for? I liked that.

    Pete Dayton: Well, I don't!

    Phil: I liked that.

  • Bill Dayton: The police called us today.

    Pete Dayton: What'd they want?

Bill Dayton: They wanted to know if we had a chance to find out what happened to you the other night. And they wanted to know if you remembered anything.

Pete Dayton: But... I don't remember anything. What'd you tell them?

Bill Dayton: [after a long pause] We're not going to say anything about that night to the police.

Candace Dayton: We saw you that night, Pete.

Bill Dayton: You came home with your friend, Sheila.

    Pete Dayton: Sheila?

Bill Dayton: Uh-huh. There was a man with you two.

Pete Dayton: What is this? Why didn't you tell me anything? Who was the man?

Bill Dayton: I've never seen him before in my life.

Pete Dayton: What happened to me? Please Dad, if you know, tell me.

[Bill and Candace sorrowfully look away from Pete]
