torment

I didn't expect that looking at the mirror in the end would be torture to me.

Knowing the secret of the box, I was thinking about the corpse at the bottom right of my heart during the whole process, and the super-long continuity in one shot made me want to jump out of a frame and take a breath. The smoothness of a mirror to the end makes people who do not know beforehand feel no discomfort, but makes people who do know feel inexplicably restless.

Hitchcock is a character that irritates me, he's too prolific and popular to be my type, but he's really able to play me as a spectator and show him as a screenwriter The director has complete and powerful power. Because of my unwillingness and insubordination, I lost to him.

So I wish philip was calmer, that ruber didn't expose them in the nick of time, and that the thrill was won, so that Hitchcock needed more careful effort, and the evil me and them both were satisfied.

When murdering, pay attention to two points: 1. Don't find cowardly accomplices; 2. Don't be arrogant!

I thought it didn't show the beauty of danger and seduction at all. But you can still give it four stars for the smooth long shots and the as always exquisite scene clothing and other hardware.

Rope quotes

  • Rupert Cadell: Brandon's spoken of you.

Janet: Did he do me justice?

Rupert Cadell: Do you deserve justice?

  • Brandon: The good Americans usually die young on the battlefield, don't they? Well, the Davids of this world merely occupy space, which is why he was the perfect victim for the perfect murder. Course he, uh, he was a Harvard undergraduate. That might make it justifiable homicide.
