A few old actors, cute little girls, nothing to read, no ups and downs, calm and implied waves, just a very comfortable movie.
The little girl has left her mother and lost her younger brother, but she has books, new parents, and Max gives her eyes to let her know how good it is to be alive and how to live is more meaningful.

The Grim Reaper at the beginning and the end was a failure, probably because I wanted to make the ending less abrupt, but it shouldn't be uplifted by the way.
