Warmth without sensationalism is a good chicken soup for the soul

★8.0 "Book Thief": Warm but not sensational. There are no bloody war scenes, and there is no rational criticism that rises to the moral level. Just reflect on the cruelty of World War II and the kindness and greatness of human nature through the life experience of a little girl. This story unfolded from the perspective of death is flat and does not have too many ups and downs, but you must know that in real life, not every story is full of emotions, and not every experience is full of ups and downs. From illiterate to brilliant, sometimes all you need is a loving adoptive parent and a confidant who is positive and optimistic at all times. Personally, I think this is a movie that is in the middle of "Life is Beautiful" and "The Boy in the Striped Shirt", and it is worth recommending. The only regret is that I haven't read the original novel.
