After reading some Douyou comments, I found that not many people understood this film. If you don’t know much about Western philosophy and religion, it may be the reason why you can’t understand this film. Other films describe an atmosphere, not a story. A complete story, so sometimes you don't have to force yourself to tell a story when you watch a movie. From this point of view, if you are looking for answers throughout the whole process of watching, then you are not suitable for this type of movie because its purpose is to use a dark and depressing atmosphere. Infect you if you feel creepy, then the director has succeeded. In short, this drama brings together all the evil elements. After watching it, it makes people despair, depression and fear. As for the religious component, I don't want to talk too much about me being a follower of Jesus Christ. The meaning inside is tacit. I

give three stars because the world is already chaotic enough. There is no need for another film about darkness and Satan, but the director of this film does everything to achieve the goal. It is really well-intentioned. In terms of the scale of this film, whether it is visual effects or the deep meaning of the film, if your psychological capacity is not enough, it is recommended not to watch this film

Antichrist quotes

  • He: What I understood, was that you wanted to write alone. So you could finish your thesis.

    She: But I didn't.

    He: You didn't.

She: You see? You didn't even know that.

He: Why did you give up? That's not like you.

She: The whole project just seemed less important, up there. As you said, when I talked to you about my subject: 'glib.'

He: I never called your subject glib.

She: Perhaps you didn't use that word, but that's what you meant. And, all of a sudden, it was glib. Or, even worse, some kind of lie.

    He: I see.

She: No, you don't see. You see a lot of things, but not that.

  • He: Acorns don't cry, you know that as well as I do. That's what fear is, thoughts distort reality. Not the other way around.
