Plot without plot, violence without aesthetics

Let’s talk about the viewing experience first. After about half an hour, I watched the whole process at double speed, and paused many times in the middle, because the violent scenes were really uncomfortable. This can’t be called violent aesthetics, it is pure violence without beauty.

First of all, let’s talk about the biggest problem. I feel that the screenwriter has a great responsibility. The beginning of the plot is fairly normal. Later, when the male protagonist and the murderous pervert start the cat-and-mouse game, the plot gradually deviates. The plot is for the plot. incomprehensible. There are many ways to make a pervert murderer feel uncomfortable. Why should he keep him endangering society? The police clearly know it, but they are unmoved, which is completely unreasonable. In the end, is it comfortable to have to catch up with the male protagonist's family?

Let's talk about the violent part. I saw some comments that the props group and the like don't understand human body structure at all. I understand it very well. The first few victims and the perverted murderer were hit so hard on the head that they could wake up after a while. The most incomprehensible is the last scene. The male protagonist tied the perverted murderer's tongue to the door. After the murderer's parents pulled the door hard, he reasoned. Otherwise, the rope should have fallen off, or the tongue should have been pulled out. When the whole head is pulled out, it feels outrageous. Can the head fall off so easily? Originally, I wanted to give a three-point reluctance, because some of the treatments really scared me. I feel that this kind of treatment is also good for horror movies, but many scenes of killing and chasing fights only arouse people's physical and psychological distress. Psychological discomfort, no beauty at all.

Let's talk about acting skills, maybe there are problems with the whole plot and logic, the characters are very thin, the actors don't have much room to play, the male protagonist is all about revenge, and has been in a state of adrenaline surge, which really doesn't show much acting skills. The metamorphosis is not three-dimensional, and it feels like a mindless killing, inexplicable, not like a mental illness, and not like a cynic. It seems that it is a killing machine, but it seems to be a bit emotional, anyway, it is inexplicable and four different. When I saw the "Phoenix Hall", that is, the perverted murderer dog friend, there was still a bit of drama. I always felt that this face was very kind.

After reading it, I feel that it is a complete waste of time, and double speed feels like a waste of time.

The video is okay, the plot is old-fashioned, is this Jin Zhiyun?

It's been a little rough in the front. . . . However, the ending of Korean movies is always exciting~

I Saw the Devil quotes

  • Kim Soo-hyeon: I will kill you when you are in the most pain. When you're in the most pain, shivering out of fear, then I will kill you. That's a real revenge. A real complete revenge.

  • Kyung-chul: Hey. Cut the bullshit. You already lost. You think you got me? Huh? Fuck you. I don't know what pain is. Fear? Don't know that either. There's nothing you can get from me. So... You already lost. Got that?
