The whole film can be said to be a visual feast. I have always been curious about how many sets of so complicated and luxurious clothes the costume designer made in order to make this film. Every corner is full of broken flowers, all beautiful and luxurious. . It's a movie for women, and women should like to watch too.
There are many historical scenes in this film that are not described, and even the ending came to a halt when the queen and the king fled. It is said that there is also the famous "necklace incident" in the middle, and the story of the queen's lover bravely coming back to rescue the queen. . . Perhaps, a film can't carry too much, after all, those clothes and those scenes have already filled people's eyesight.
I read the Japanese manga "The Rose of Versailles" when I was in middle school, but I didn't know what it had to do with this film. After watching this film, I had the urge to read this manga again. Suddenly I felt that if I studied history when I was a child, I could not only let students read books to endorse, but also recommend everyone to watch some historical movies and TV, which would be more helpful.
