This film is adapted from the documentary literature of the same name published by Stephen Rebelo in 1998.
Records the various efforts made by Hitchcock (Anthony Hopkins) for the filming of "Mentally Ill". During the filming process, his relationship with his wife Alma (Helen Mirren) has also become the focus of attention.
Since then, "Mentally Ill" has become one of Hitchcock’s classic masterpieces. The film tells the story of the female secretary Marion played by actress Janet Lee (Scarlett Johansson), who escaped after taking away the boss’s money. Went to a remote motel and was brutally killed by Norman, a schizophrenic innkeeper played by Anthony Perkins (James D'Arcy). The scene of her panic and screaming in the film has become one of the most unforgettable scenes in film history, and she was nominated for the Golden Globe and Oscar for Best Supporting Actress.
