The ending is much better than To Kill a Mockingbird

I have seen several films about the jury, Twelve Angry Men, To Kill a Mockingbird, and The Runaway Jury. The jury system itself is built on the basis that the majority obeys the minority, but in many cases, the opinions of the majority may not be correct. At the same time, the jury members' sense of responsibility, intelligence, knowledge level, and life experience influence the outcome of the trial, and these factors are also very unbalanced among the public. Therefore, the result of its ruling may not be correct. Unintentionally, the adjudication result of the reviewer system is conducive to maintaining social stability, but it is difficult to comment on its role in promoting social progress.

The plot twists and turns, the characters are full, and beyond the polarities of darkness and light, the part that pretends to be gray is vividly depicted. In addition, the rich details are worth seeing again and again

Quick-money (mainstream) editing and scheduling are definitely a weapon for murder stories (although this story is not much of a story even if it is filmed)

Runaway Jury quotes

  • Wendell Rohr: Is that why you're doing this? To protect the constitution, is that it?

Rankin Fitch: Of course not. I'm in it to win.

    Wendell Rohr: Oh.

Rankin Fitch: Just like you are.

    Wendell Rohr: Yeah.

Rankin Fitch: Because that's what I was hired to do.

    Wendell Rohr: Uh huh.

Rankin Fitch: Everything else is colored bubbles.

Wendell Rohr: Colored bubbles! Colored bubbles? A system that calls for twelve people to sit and listen to testimony of witnesses, fella, and that includes my witness, who you've disappeared!

Rankin Fitch: If you're relying on testimony to win this case, you've already lost it.

  • Wendell Rohr: There's gonna be another shooting, and another shooting, and it's not gonna let up until we demand a change.
