Various loopholes and contradictions in Dongcheng's confusing affair

It's hard to imagine that films like this are still being made in the US in 2021. People living in a community - drug addiction, derailment, prostitution, sexual assault, incest, suicide, sexual assault, adolescence, homosexuality... It can be seen how classic "Twin Peaks" is, and subsequent films have imitated it for 20 years and still It is enduring for a long time, and it can also make the starring win the award softly.

When Renren's video was just taken off the shelves, I hadn't watched it yet, so I turned to the circle of friends and praised the film to show my support. Now I'm going to take back those words. Because "Dongcheng Nightmare" is actually a quite satisfactory film. It's slow paced. As a slow film, it is not a god. There are many imperfections in its plot, there are contradictions and loopholes, and even some places are floating and suspenseful, and there are some bad problems of domestic suspense films. I think the filmmakers should thank the leading actors for their superb acting skills, and they covered up the script's flaws on the surface. Most people still think it's a good movie.

Mel's exhaustion is the deepest aspect of the film. Some people are born criminals, if one day she is not a criminal, then she doesn't know what to do. She was slapped by the mother of her sacrificial colleague, and hated by her best friend, "Why can't I just let him go? You've left my whole family torn apart!" - No. Because she's Mel, she's a detective.

I saw her dark circles in the last episode. She is not at all pompous. Her persistence in the career she has engaged in throughout her life has made me fall into a beautiful imagination and moved again - you are ordinary and poor, but you can still confidently say that the souls of people are equal. Our profession is neither noble nor inferior to other professions.

But there are still loopholes in the plot. The method of solving the crime is too crude, and it pales in comparison with many classic crime films. The two detectives spent too much time on investigation and interviews, with little substance. The repeated investigations are nothing more than repeating the victim's life. Finally, with a simple half license plate number, the tavern owner was caught. Then why did it take a year to catch him? It took a year for Mel to remember to visit the prostitutes around the crime scene, looking for potential survivors? At the beginning of the first episode, it was said that Mel paid too much for this case...even searched every inch of the land. I thought how cunning the killer was - it turned out that the two girls who were kidnapped were imprisoned in the basement without their hands tied. And the bar may have guests at any time. Uninvited guests came to the door, and the girls were able to send out such an obvious distress signal by knocking on the pipe. Gosh, then why - this whole year without getting any chance of escape?

You just make a fool of yourself.

Mel's male colleagues sacrifice too sloppily and too deliberately. Not necessary. The screenwriter's intention is probably just to let Mel and the writer HE, by the way, be romantic - the little milk dog has lived in prudence all his life. Well, I hit it. Not next time.

Not to mention the Ross family, the scene where Billy took the blame was full of loopholes. I wonder if the screenwriter thought about the identity of the real murderer when filming that scene? Could it be that at the last moment, in order to create a reversal, the real culprit was temporarily precluded? In the previous plot, I have to believe that Billy is the real murderer, and the couple are still talking candidly in the restaurant, "Billy is the real murderer". ——As a result, the hard concave reversed at the back, emphasizing that the couple knew from the beginning that their son was the murderer. ——Then what the hell are you pretending to do in front of you?

This is not setting an ambush at all. Completely contradictory.

Many episodes are left unfinished. For example, Mel's daughter was editing her brother's documentary for the whole film, and I thought the ending would be a big move. The result is not mentioned at all. Her gay people somehow didn't show up either. The victim girl died naked, and the murder weapon - the gun was not found to convict John first. Please, they are all police pistols. Is it difficult to screen out who has been a police officer before? Obviously, the old man may be locked at the beginning, obviously the old man can easily know who stole his gun through his own surveillance, and he has to go around a big detour to find the fishing party on the mountain. Also, Billy and his brother helped their nephew dispose of the body. Billy came back covered in blood, and was not seen by the neighbors on the road. Amazingly, his brother wasn't covered in blood, and he didn't raise any suspicions from his wife that night. Not to mention, where did the deceased's clothes go? Do you have fingerprints on your clothes? What the hell did Mel's group solve the case?

Kindly persuade domestic and foreign screenwriters that the script you write should not always think that it is a piece of buried gold or it may be a piece of shit.

I don't like watching bestsellers. Dongcheng Nightmare is probably a debt owed in the past. Now finally finished. The problem with best-selling films is that you have to endure some unbearable loopholes, and after the whole film is over, you will shout "Great" with everyone! I heard that Dongcheng Nightmare won the award. I think the script suspension disease, like the new crown, has probably spread around the world.

Let me end with the words of the priest. I kinda like it - "These are people who have been devastated by the tragedies of the past year, they were part of this community and now they are outsiders. This community was the center of their lives, and you may think they should have Rejected. They break the law and lie, and they don’t deserve to be part of us. But it’s not up to us to decide whether they deserve it or not.”

Isn’t this the case that the scumbag can't help his lower body and affect his wife, children and brothers? Is it necessary to write a headshot of the little milk dog? Screenwriter I thought he was going to compose a love song with a very hot grandma, you just send the person away Is this fair?

Episode 5 When Kate found out that her mother had a one-night stand with the widowed old man, the camera in the car was so funny and beautiful, BTW, Quicksilver died too fast, I really like the role of Kate's mother
