In such an extreme day, these children are living and studying in school as usual. Several named characters do not talk, but are intertwined in the same space or time. In the first half of the film, our audience is like a stalker, watching them secretly without saying a word. The quiet time passed and the slaughter began. The two boys slaughtered living classmates and teachers as if they were in a computer game. When people understood everything, they started to run, but no one shouted a warning, so that some people entered the dangerous place at a loss.
In school, it seems that everyone is a closed and lonely individual. They rarely communicate with each other. No one knows what other people are thinking. The indifference of society, the school and the people around them drives the whole murder of the two boys, and everyone becomes the sinner, the murderer. The process of their killing is not thrilling at all, like a game. I can even feel their pleasure, and don't hate them, just doubt and disgust the brown-haired boy after he killed his partner. He could live with the blond boy, discuss plans, and kiss him, as if they had an ambiguous relationship, and in the end he kills him. God knows how cold his heart is. Perhaps the moment he killed his companion, his own heart died, like a grassland that had just been burned by a fire.
Everything is as fleeting as a cloud, illusory. Elephant really appeared, who should be responsible, this is the director's silent question.
